About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist with in-store experience to manage and analyze inventory data. This role focuses on maintaining accurate records of materials in store, reconciling stock, and providing insights to improve efficiency in inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate data entry of store inventory, goods received, goods issued, and stock levels.
- Use Microsoft Excel for creating dashboards, applying filters, and generating reports on store materials.
- Apply basic Excel formulas (SUM, AVERAGE, multiplication, percentage, etc.) to analyze inventory flow.
- Use VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP and Pivot Tables to connect and analyze multiple data sheets.
- Track and report how much material is available in store vs. pending with vendors.
- Support the store team in reconciling physical stock with system data.
- Ensure timely and accurate reporting of store-related information to management.
Requirements
- Prior experience in in-store data management or inventory handling.
- Proficiency in MS Excel (dashboards, filters, formulas, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/HLOOKUP).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail with ability to handle large sets of data accurately.
- Good communication and reporting skills.
