Job Description:

We are looking for a senior Data Governance & Privacy Specialist to oversee IT governance, data privacy, and compliance initiatives across the organization. The role involves assessing, implementing, and maintaining governance frameworks to ensure regulatory compliance and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee IT governance and data privacy initiatives across projects and platforms.
• Perform governance assessments and implementations based on COBIT, ISO, and other industry frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with applicable data protection regulations, standards, and internal policies.
• Define, implement, and monitor governance controls, policies, and procedures.
• Work closely with business, IT, and compliance teams to ensure governance alignment.
• Support audits, risk assessments, and compliance reviews.
• Provide guidance and recommendations to senior stakeholders on governance and privacy matters.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in IT governance, compliance, and privacy implementation.
• Strong experience with COBIT, ISO (ISO 27001 / 27701 or similar) and other governance frameworks.
• Relevant degree or certification in IT Governance, Information Security, or related fields.
• CDMP certification is a strong plus.
• Excellent stakeholder management, documentation, and communication skills.
• Experience working in data-driven or technology environments is preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹2,000,000.00 per year
