Data & Insights Lead

Role Overview


The Marketing Analytics Lead will be responsible for leading the strategy, development, and

execution of marketing analytics initiatives across AppliedAI. You will partner with cross-functional teams (Marketing, Product, Growth, Data Science, and Leadership) to define KPIs, build advanced models, and provide actionable insights that shape acquisition, retention, and engagement strategies. This is both a hands-on and strategic leadership role, requiring strong technical skills and the ability to influence stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities


Analytics Leadership

  • Define and oversee the marketing analytics roadmap to support business growth.
  • Lead a small but high-impact team of analysts and data scientists.
  • Champion a data-driven decision-making culture within the marketing organization.


Performance Optimization

  • Develop and operationalize predictive models (e.g., churn, lookalike, LTV) to drive acquisition and retention.
  • Conduct marketing mix modeling and media spend optimization to maximize ROI.
  • Partner with campaign managers to run A/B testing and experimental frameworks.


Insights & Reporting

  • Build dashboards and executive reports tracking CAC, CTR, ROI, retention, and engagement KPIs.
  • Translate complex data into actionable insights and storytelling for senior leadership.
  • Guide customer segmentation strategies and targeted communications.


Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with Product, Loyalty, and Growth teams to align analytics with company goals.
  • Ensure analytics solutions are integrated into business workflows for real impact.


Qualifications


Experience: 6–10 years of progressive experience in marketing analytics, data science, or

business intelligence, preferably in fast-growing technology, SaaS, or e-commerce

environments.


Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and statistical modeling.
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Power BI, Data Studio, Mixpanel, GA4,
  • Appsflyer, and Dataiku.
  • Familiarity with predictive modeling, churn analysis, cohort analysis, and marketing mix modeling.


Business Acumen: Strong understanding of digital and offline marketing channels,

campaign optimization, and customer lifecycle strategies.


Leadership: Demonstrated ability to mentor and lead analytics professionals.


Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related field

(Master’s degree preferred).


Preferred Attributes

  • Strong communication and data storytelling skills for influencing stakeholders.
  • Experience with big data platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure, Hadoop).
  • Knowledge of prescriptive and generative AI/LLM applications in marketing analytics.
  • Certified in GA4, Mixpanel, or equivalent advanced analytics platforms.
