Data Management Consultant

JOB DESCRIPTION

Role: Consultant (Primary Intelligence Analytics)

Experience: 4 to 8 years

Location: Bangalore/Gurgaon/Noida

Purpose: Data Management

Serve as the data access and integration expert who can efficiently collaborate with various database owners to obtain, format, and integrate data for Primary Intelligence Research Services (PIRS) project needs, with primary focus on real-world world data, market research and social media intelligence.

Roles and Accountabilities:

• Develop data specifications, write programs to access data, and / or work with COE database programmers to obtain and prepare data for PIRS projects.
• Establish standard practices / processes for accessing data and creating integrated data sets for analytics projects; document these approaches to enable knowledge sharing and training.
• Build relationships across IQVIA data community to share ideas for using data to address business questions and learn about project best practices.
• Keep appraised of changes in data structure, data management rules, and other operational guidelines within IQVIA.
• Work with onsite team members to understand project requirements and deliver projects independently as per the guidance of senior project leaders.
• Ability to learn new tools, techniques and information assets as required for successful project delivery.
• Be a strong collaborator, who is willing to share/train and learn from others as the job requires close collaboration with multiple stakeholders.

Experience:

• 4+ years’ experience in data management and modeling skill areas within biopharma / life sciences
• Must have a working knowledge of U.S. life science commercial data sets such as Rx, Dx, health claims, primary market research, manufacturer promotion data or have the ability to quickly understand these data sets given expertise in similarly large, complex data set.
• Excellent analytical skills with ability to analyze large data sets.
• Familiar with Relational Database systems and BI/DW concepts, API integration knowledge a plus
• Good project management skills with the ability to plan and manage multiple projects, multitask and deliver to tight deadlines.

Tools, Tech & Data:

• Must have advanced MS-Excel skills.
• Expertise in writing queries to access data from MySQL and Oracle databases.
• Hands-on experience in R / Python for data manipulation and IQVIA data assets/ platforms such IQVIA Analytics Engine (P360), OneKey, Rsearch360 etc., would be an added advantage.
