As a Data Management Controller in our Finance team, you will spend each day defining, refining, and delivering financial strategies to support our global business. You will leverage your expertise in financial consolidation, reporting systems, and analytical skills to make informed decisions that advance our business objectives.
You will be responsible for monitoring risk data processing from upstream sources and ensuring the distribution of high-quality data to consumers across Finance, Risk, Capital, and Treasury. This includes maintaining data attendance adherence, validating data quality through attribute checks, conducting period-over-period anomaly reviews, making appropriate adjustments, and communicating real-time data availability. Working closely with Asset Class Controllers, you will provide authoritative datasets and foster feedback loops to continually refine and enhance the quality and reliability of our base data
Job responsibilities
Monitor and analyze the data quality of Liquidity, Credit, and Finance data stores, ensuring timeliness, completeness, and accuracy of data feeds in collaboration with operational and technology partners.
Support daily, monthly, and adjustment processes for data received into FRW, CFW, DAC, and AWS by coordinating with technology partners to understand issues and discussing enhancements with downstream consumers and Operations teams.
Analyze large volumes of data and perform comprehensive data analytics to identify trends and issues.
Track metrics that represent the timeliness, accuracy, and completeness of data flow from source platforms to the LRI/Data Acquisition and Control environment, facilitating timely management and resolution of data quality issues and process exceptions.
Escalate unresolved issues to management or other lines of business when progress stalls or barriers arise.
Focus continuously on improvements, enhancements, and innovations to address data quality issues and eliminate manual workarounds.
Communicate effectively, both in writing and verbally, with Risk reporting teams, Operations, Technology, and Operate teams to maintain strong client partnerships.
