Roles & Responsibilities

The Data Manager is responsible for overseeing the effective management, governance, and utilization of data assets across all group companies, ensuring high data quality, availability, and compliance to support business decision-making and strategic initiatives.

• Managing the development and implementation of data management policies, procedures, and standards to ensure data integrity, quality, availability, and consistency across all group companies.
• Oversee data governance frameworks and ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
• Collaborate with business units and IT teams to identify data requirements, streamline data flows, and support business intelligence and analytics initiatives.
• Govern the master data systems maintenance across ERP and other critical platforms, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Lead data quality initiatives by establishing metrics, performing regular audits, and facilitating data cleansing activities.
• Support cybersecurity and data privacy efforts by implementing robust data protection controls and responding to data-related incidents.
• Provide training and guidance to data stewards and users on data management best practices and tools to activate self-serve data utilization.
• Prepare and present regular reports on data management activities, issues, and improvements to senior management.
• Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall data strategy of the holding company
• Define and secure the needed data for planned initiatives and the business and technology roadmaps.
• Setting up Data Lineage tool to visualize the journey of the data from the origin to the final target.
• Secure proper setup of the structured and unstructured data for AI/ML use cases including RAG enablement
• Maintaining data catalog and governing data ownership structure.
• Proper group level data setup to allow cross company data visibility and consumptions based on the access rules.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in data management, data governance, or a related field, preferably within a multi-company or holding group environment. With another 3 years technical experience with data processing.
• Strong knowledge of data management principles, data governance frameworks, and data quality tools.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and business intelligence platforms.
• Familiarity with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR).
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., DAMA CDMP, DGSP, or similar) are required.
