A Typical Day:
As a Product Analyst II on our Data Products team, you aren't just managing tickets, you’re the bridge between complex data architecture and actionable business value. You will sit at the intersection of Marketing and Sales data, leveraging modern AI tools and Snowflake to build products that drive revenue. We move fast, use Cursor to accelerate our workflows, and expect you to be as comfortable in a SQL console as you are in a stakeholder meeting.
The Product Analyst II will:
-
Own the translation of Marketing and Sales business questions into technical data requirements and user stories.
-
Collaborate with engineers to optimize data pipelines running in Snowflake, ensuring data integrity and performance for end-user products.
-
Perform "Pre-Discovery" by querying datasets directly to validate business assumptions before they hit the dev backlog.
-
Actively drive Scrum ceremonies, ensuring user stories have clear technical acceptance criteria and a solid "Definition of Done."
-
Interface with Marketing and Sales leadership to turn vague requests into structured data roadmaps.
-
Conduct functional testing on data outputs to ensure logic matches business rules before UAT.
-
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
-
Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
What You’ll Bring:
- Strong SQL skills are non-negotiable. You should be comfortable navigating schemas and understanding data relationships.
-
Familiarity with Cursor or similar AI-assisted development environments. You should know how to use LLMs to work smarter and faster.
-
Experience working with Marketing (e.g., attribution, lead gen) or Sales (e.g., CRM, pipeline) data.
-
Advanced proficiency in Jira and Confluence; experience structuring complex epics for data engineering teams.
-
3+ years of experience in an analytical role, preferably within a Data Product or FinTech environment.
-
Experience with dbt or data orchestration tools.
-
Background in Financial Services or Mortgage.
