Data QA Engineer

Summary:

We are looking for a Data QA Engineer with 3+ years of experience in data validation, ETL testing, and data test automation. The role focuses on ensuring data accuracy through automated data validation, SQL and Python-based testing, and data quality automation frameworks across cloud and on-prem data platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Perform Data QA, data validation, database testing, and data migration testing
• Execute ETL testing and Source-to-Target (STT) validation
• Perform data reconciliation and data profiling
• Develop automated data validation using SQL automation scripts and Python
• Build and maintain ETL test automation and reusable validation scripts
• Implement data reconciliation automation and API data validation
• Use PyTest / unit testing frameworks for data test automation
• Integrate data tests with CI/CD pipelines and support DevOps for data testing
• Validate data across Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, and relational databases

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in Data QA / Data Testing
• Strong expertise in SQL (advanced queries)
• Hands-on experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Talend, DataStage, SSIS)
• Experience with SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL
• Proficiency in Python-based data validation and test automation
• Experience with Power BI / Tableau for data validation
• Strong command of Excel (advanced)
• Understanding of CI/CD integration and DevOps practices for data testing
