Location: Qatar
Contract Duration: 1 Year

We are seeking a Data Quality Resource to support data governance and open data initiatives aligned with the Qatar Data Trust Index (QDTI) standards. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of open data, while helping government entities improve transparency and accessibility of data.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and monitor data quality in accordance with QDTI guidelines and best practices.
• Develop and implement data validation, profiling, and cleansing procedures.
• Collaborate with data owners, data stewards, IT teams, and business units to identify and resolve data quality issues.
• Track and document data quality metrics and prepare regular reports for stakeholders.
• Support data migration and transformation initiatives, ensuring compliance with Data Trust Index standards.
• Promote and implement open data practices to enhance accessibility and public data sharing.
• Conduct training sessions and awareness programs on open data principles and transparency benefits.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Proven experience in data quality management.
• Familiarity with Qatar Data Trust Index frameworks and requirements.
• Understanding of open data concepts, including data sharing, licensing, and open data standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
• Experience with data profiling and data cleansing tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data management platforms and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards in Qatar.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience with open data portals or platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Informatica Data Management Cloud (IDMC).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data engineering.
