Data Reporting Analyst

ASSYST is seeking an experienced Data Reporting Analyst for a contract-based hybrid role in Austin, TX. The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience supporting enterprise analytics and reporting initiatives. In this role, the analyst will support out Client by designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines, dashboards, and analytical reports. The candidate should have strong expertise in ETL development using Informatica, data visualization using Tableau or Power BI, and data analysis across large datasets. This position requires the ability to translate complex business requirements into scalable technical data solutions, ensuring high standards of data accuracy, performance, and reporting efficiency while collaborating closely with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, reporting needs, and data workflows from stakeholders.
• Design, develop, and maintain ETL data pipelines using Informatica IICS to support enterprise reporting and analytics.
• Build and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Tableau and/or Power BI.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications, data models, and reporting frameworks.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for business decision-making.
• Perform data validation, testing, and quality assurance for ETL pipelines, dashboards, and reports.
• Evaluate system capabilities and recommend improvements to automate reporting and optimize data processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy, publish, and promote reporting solutions within the SHARP platform.
• Conduct cost-benefit analysis and feasibility studies for new reporting and automation initiatives.
• Document reporting processes, data definitions, and system functionality for operational support and governance.

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience building dashboards and reports using Tableau, Power BI, or similar BI tools.
• 8+ years of experience with ETL development and data management using Informatica.
• Strong experience translating business requirements into reporting and data solutions.
• Experience working with data pipelines, data transformation, and reporting automation.
• Strong understanding of data analysis, reporting frameworks, and data integration processes.

Preferred Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience working with large-scale data environments including Snowflake, Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, or similar databases.
• Snowflake experience strongly preferred.
• 4+ years of experience in data analysis and data interpretation.
• 2+ years of experience using Informatica ETL tools.
• 2+ years of experience developing dashboards using Tableau.
• 2+ years of experience developing dashboards using Power BI.
