About the Job:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Data & Research Analyst to support our research and data initiatives. This role bridges the gap between traditional data analysis and technical data engineering, focusing on collecting, processing, and analyzing data from multiple sources to identify patterns and insights.

Key Responsibilities & Duties:

• Execute end-to-end research workflows: Design and write custom scripts to automate data collection, analyze the resulting outputs for key trends, and critically evaluate findings to identify research gaps and opportunities for further inquiry.
• Automated Data Sourcing: Conduct research across multiple sources (structured and unstructured) using Python-based web scraping and API integrations.
• Data Pipeline Support: Develop and maintain Python scripts for data ingestion, processing, and basic automation tasks to ensure a steady flow of accurate data.
• Data Integrity: Perform rigorous data cleaning, validation, and enrichment to maintain high-quality databases.
• Analysis & Insight: Use Pandas or similar libraries to analyze datasets, identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies to inform business and research decisions.
• Technical Documentation: Clearly document data sources, scraping methodologies, and analytical findings for the technical and research teams.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Finance, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
• Strong working knowledge of Python for scripting and data processing.
• Experience with web scraping tools (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Requests) and data handling libraries (e.g., pandas, NumPy).
• Strong analytical thinking with the ability to handle unstructured data and complex datasets.
• Excellent written communication skills, with a focus on clear documentation and reporting.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, understanding of data pipelines, or prior experience in a research-heavy environment.
