Job Description


We are seeking a strategic, hands-on Data Science Lead to head advanced analytics efforts within the People Insights & Analytics function. This role is responsible for shaping and executing the data science agenda focused on workforce trends, employee behaviors, organizational effectiveness, and predictive insights. The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise in machine learning and statistical modeling with a deep understanding of HR and organizational dynamics. You will lead a team of data scientists and analysts, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, and translate complex data into actionable workforce strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytical models to support workforce planning, talent management, diversity & inclusion, employee engagement, retention, and performance.
  • Manage and mentor a team of data scientists and analysts, providing technical guidance, thought leadership, and coaching.
  • Define and drive the People Analytics data science roadmap aligned with business and HR priorities.
  • Apply techniques such as clustering, classification, regression, time-series forecasting, and natural language processing (NLP) to extract insights from structured and unstructured employee data.
  • Collaborate closely with HR, Talent, DEI, and Business Leaders to identify key workforce questions and transform them into analytical use cases.
  • Work in partnership with HRIS, IT, and Data Engineering teams to ensure high data quality, model integration, and scalable solutions.
  • Present insights, visualizations, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership in a compelling and accessible manner.
  • Promote ethical use of employee data, ensuring privacy, fairness, and transparency in all analytics solutions.
  • Stay abreast of latest research and trends in people analytics, organizational behavior, and applied data science.

Qualifications
  • Master’s or PhD in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Psychology (I/O), Economics, or a related quantitative field.
  • 7–10+ years of experience in data science, with at least 3 years in people analytics or HR-related data applications.
  • Proven experience building and operationalizing predictive models and analytics frameworks for workforce insights.
  • Expertise in programming languages such as Python or R, and SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Workday Discovery Boards).
  • Strong understanding of HR domains such as engagement, attrition, DEI, compensation, learning, and workforce planning.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills to convey technical findings to non-technical audiences.
