Data Science Tutor

Job Type: Full-time (On-site)

About the Role

We are hiring a Data Science Tutor for our Vyttila center. The tutor will be responsible for training students in the core areas of data science, including Python programming, statistics, machine learning, data visualization, and real-world project applications. The ideal candidate will inspire learners to develop analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and hands-on technical expertise.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily training sessions on data science for students and aspiring professionals.
• Teach foundational and advanced topics including Python, NumPy, Pandas, Statistics, Machine Learning, Data Visualization, and SQL.
• Design, prepare, and update course materials, assignments, and live case studies.
• Guide students through practical projects and data analysis exercises.
• Track and evaluate student progress, providing personalized mentoring and performance feedback.
• Encourage innovation, analytical reasoning, and teamwork through project-based learning.
• Maintain accurate lesson plans, attendance records, and academic reports.
• Collaborate with the academic and placement teams to ensure skill development and job readiness.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field (mandatory).
• 0–1 year of experience in data science, analytics, or teaching preferred (freshers with hands-on projects or certifications are welcome).
• Strong understanding of Python programming, data analytics, machine learning algorithms, and visualization tools (e.g., Matplotlib, Seaborn, Power BI, or Tableau).
• Excellent communication, presentation, and mentoring skills.
• Passion for teaching and empowering learners in technical education.
• Ability to create engaging, interactive, and practical classroom sessions.

Working Hours

Full-time: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Saturday)
