About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and innovative Data Scientist to join our forward-thinking team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Classical Machine Learning, Conversational AI, and Deep Learning Systems, with a strong ability to translate complex mathematical challenges into scalable ML/AI solutions. You will design, develop, and optimize cutting-edge AI-based systems, with a particular focus on NLP and Large Language Models (LLMs), ensuring seamless and engaging user experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Generative AI Solutions: Design and develop advanced AI solutions using GANs, VAEs, Transformers, and other state-of-the-art models.
- Classical ML Models: Build and optimize models such as regression, decision trees, SVMs, random forests, clustering, and gradient boosting to solve diverse business problems.
- Deep Learning Systems: Train, fine-tune, and deploy CNNs, RNNs, LSTMs, GANs, and Transformers to deliver high-performing solutions.
- NLP & LLM Optimization: Work on NLP tasks and prompt engineering to refine outcomes for LLMs (e.g., GPT, BERT, T5).
- Data Management & Feature Engineering: Process, augment, and engineer features from structured and unstructured datasets.
- Model Evaluation & Monitoring: Perform hyperparameter tuning (grid/random/Bayesian optimization), track model drift, and ensure fairness, robustness, and accuracy.
- Code & System Design Reviews: Participate in reviews to ensure scalable, efficient, and maintainable AI/ML architecture.
- Collaboration & Research: Partner with cross-functional teams and stay updated with the latest advancements in AI/ML to bring innovation into production systems.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related fields.
- ML/DL Expertise: Hands-on experience in classical ML techniques and deep learning systems with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
- NLP Expertise: Proven experience with NLP and LLMs (GPT, BERT, T5, etc.), including prompt engineering and fine-tuning.
- Programming: Strong proficiency in Python and libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, Hugging Face Transformers, NLTK, or SpaCy.
- Math & Statistics: Solid foundation in probability, statistics, and optimization techniques.
- Deployment & MLOps: Experience deploying ML models into production (AWS SageMaker, Azure ML, GCP AI, or similar). Familiarity with MLOps pipelines is a plus.
- System Design: Understanding of distributed systems, parallel processing, and scalable architectures.
