Our position where we invite you to join us: Data Scientist

At Otokoç Otomotiv , we are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to drive data-driven decision-making and implement cutting-edge Generative AI solutions, particularly focusing on the Azure AI ecosystem.

So, what responsibilities does the Data Scientist take on at Otokoç Otomotiv?

• Strategic Data Analysis & Modeling : Analyze complex internal data (CRM, ERP, DWH, DLH) to develop statistical models, machine learning, and deep learning solutions for business optimization (e.g., pricing, demand forecasting).

• LLM Solution Development: Design, develop, and deploy solutions leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs) and Small Language Models (SLMs).

• Focus on Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture implementation.

• Utilize Azure OpenAI Services and Azure AI Search for enterprise AI applications.

• Data Engineering & Quality : Collect, clean, and structure large datasets to ensure high data quality for modeling.

• Insight & Communication: Translate complex analytical findings into actionable business recommendations for stakeholders.

• AI Strategy Publishing : Manage tasks related to AI strategy steps and coordinate with all departments across the company to publish the AI strategy and follow up on domain-specific actions.

What are the Required Qualifications?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or related technical fields.

• 3–5 years as a Data Scientist, preferably in the automotive sector.

• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL.

• Expertise in machine learning, statistical analysis, and predictive modeling.

• Big Data handling, Azure AI/ML, and Databricks experience.

• Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

• LLM/Generative AI Competencies:

• Hands-on experience with LLMs (e.g., GPT family, Gemini).

• Knowledge of RAG, prompt engineering, Vector Databases, and safety guardrails.

• Experience in setting up and managing end-to-end MLOps processes (CI/CD, Model Registry) on Databricks or a similar platform.

• Experience in delivering end-to-end Chatbot/LLM projects.

• Familiarity with Copilot Studio (Power Virtual Agents).

• Familiarity with the automotive industry (e.g., connected car, aftersales).

• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration skills.
