Role Overview

The Data Scientist will be responsible for analysing business, sales, marketing, and operational data to generate actionable insights that support decision-making across departments. The role involves working closely with management teams to improve efficiency, performance, and growth using data-driven strategies.

Key Responsibilities

Data Analysis & Insights

• Collect, clean, and analyze structured and unstructured data from multiple sources.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in sales, marketing, operations, and customer data.
• Build predictive and descriptive models to support business decisions.

Programming & Database Management

• Use Advanced Python for data analysis, automation, and model development.
• Write optimized SQL queries to extract and manage data from databases.
• Perform data manipulation and reporting using Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables).

Data Visualization & Reporting

• Design and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
• Present insights in a clear and visually compelling manner for management.
• Automate periodic reports for sales performance, revenue, productivity, and KPIs.

Business & Cross-Functional Support

• Work closely with sales, marketing, HR, accounts, and operations teams.
• Support forecasting, performance tracking, and operational optimization.
• Translate business requirements into analytical solutions.

Data Governance & Quality

• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across systems.
• Maintain documentation for data models, reports, and processes.
• Follow best practices for data security and compliance.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib/Seaborn or similar).
• Good working knowledge of SQL (joins, subqueries, performance optimization).
• Advanced Excel skills (Pivot tables, Lookups, Dashboards).
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar visualization tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience in handling large volume of data.
• Knowledge of machine learning concepts.
• Experience with cloud platforms.
• BSc (Computer Science) or Any degree.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
