Overview /Objective:

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and anomalies that may indicate fraudulent activity
• Utilize data analytics tools and methodologies to conduct in-depth assessments and generate Fraud rules and reports on fraud trends (including first-party and third-party fraud).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including risk management, operations, and compliance, to enhance fraud prevention measures.
• Monitor industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to continually enhance fraud prevention strategies.

Role: Data Scientist/Senior Data Scientist (Fraud Strategy/Fraud Analytics)

Location: Gurugram /Bangalore/Hyderabad/Mumbai

Experience: 3 to 10 Years

Work Mode: Hybrid - 2 days in office, 3 days from home.

Shift Timing: 01:00 PM IST to 10:00 PM IST

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field

Technical Skills Needed:

• 3+ Years of proven data analytics experience in fraud strategy, prevention, risk management, or a related field.
• Experience in Designing, developing, and deploy ing machine learning models to detect and prevent fraudulent activities, such as Merchant Fraud, transactional fraud, account takeover, and identity theft etc.
• Strong experience in SQL and/or Python
• Familiarity with fraud detection software, risk assessment methodologies, and regulatory compliance.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and storytelling abilities.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
• Collaborative and proactive mindset.
