Role Overview

We're looking for a hands-on Data Scientist focused on building action-oriented data sets and analytics that drive immediate decisions and execution. The role operates in a highly volatile logistics and B2B environment where insights must be based primarily on current and near-real-time data, not long-horizon forecasting. The Data Scientist will own the full lifecycle from problem analysis and data modeling to development, deployment, and decision-focused reporting ensuring analytics consistently lead to concrete operational and commercial actions.

Key Responsibilities

• Build action-driven analytics that support real-time operational and commercial decisions, prioritizing current state signals over long term forecasting.
• Analyze live logistics data (ETAs, costs, delays, congestion, performance) to enable rapid execution, rebalancing, and pricing decisions.
• Design and optimize data models and pipelines using PostgreSQL, Salesforce, Data Cloud, and external systems for high volume workloads.
• Apply advanced analytics, ML, and LLMs (e.g., Mistral) for scoring, anomaly detection, prioritization, and decision support.
• Embed insights into Salesforce workflows, Agentforce, alerts, and approvals to drive execution.
• Deliver decision-focused Tableau dashboards highlighting exceptions, priorities, and recommended actions.
• Own solutions end to end, ensuring analytics translate into real operational outcomes.

Role Requirements

• Strong Data Scientist experience in operational environments with an action-oriented mindset.
• Advanced PostgreSQL expertise and hands-on experience with Salesforce, Data Cloud, and Agentforce.
• Proven experience building decision-driven Tableau dashboards.
• Background in B2B and logistics, with exposure to pricing and optimization use cases.
• Experience leveraging LLMs (e.g., Mistral) for decision support and analytics.
• Strong communication skills with high ownership and accountability.
