The Opportunity
My client is hiring a commercially minded
Data Scientist
to drive insight-led decision-making across a global healthcare events portfolio. Reporting to the Marketing Director, this newly created role will play a key role in unlocking growth across audiences, exhibitors, and revenue.
You’ll turn complex data into clear, actionable insights that inform marketing, commercial, and product strategy — helping the business move faster and smarter.
About You

5+ years’ experience as a Data Scientist or Senior Analyst (marketing, SaaS, or events experience preferred)

Strong expertise in data modelling, predictive analytics, segmentation, and growth analytics

Proficient in
Python, SQL, Power BI
(or similar tools)

Experience working with
CRM and marketing automation data

Commercially focused, with the ability to link insights to revenue and growth

Confident communicator who can influence non-technical stakeholders

Curious, proactive, and driven by impact
Key Responsibilities

Translate marketing, audience, and exhibitor data into actionable strategic insights

Identify growth opportunities through audience behaviour and segmentation analysis

Build and measure growth loops across engagement, retention, and referrals

Analyse campaign performance, attribution, and ROI to optimise spend

Develop predictive models for attendance, leads, and exhibitor demand

Design dashboards and reporting that support real-time decision-making

Partner cross-functionally to embed insights into everyday business decisions
