Job Description: Data Scientist (Healthcare | Enterprise Analytics | AI/ML)
Location: Remote – India Shift: EST / PST overlap required Engagement: Contractor / Vendor Consultant
Role Overview
The Data Scientist will partner with Enterprise Analytics and IT teams to advance AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics initiatives across clinical, operational, and business domains. The role focuses on developing, validating, and operationalizing data science models that drive measurable impact, improve forecasting accuracy, reduce costs, and support data-driven decision-making for the organization.
Key ResponsibilitiesAnalytics & Consulting
- Provide data science consulting to identify opportunities for cost savings, operational efficiencies, and quality improvement.
- Partner with business, operational, and clinical teams to understand challenges, define requirements, and design advanced analytical solutions.
Model Development & Deployment
- Apply machine learning, predictive modeling, and statistical techniques to solve complex business and clinical problems.
- Design, develop, test, and deploy AI/ML models and analytical automation pipelines.
- Maintain strong version control, documentation, and quality assurance to ensure reproducibility and compliance.
Model Validation & Monitoring
- Perform model validation, A/B evaluation, and performance testing.
- Build workflows for continuous improvement, monitoring model drift, and ensuring reliability of deployed solutions.
Operationalization
- Work with Data Engineers and Analysts to integrate models into enterprise workflows, BI dashboards, and analytical applications.
- Provide production support for deployed AI/ML solutions—including troubleshooting, monitoring, and ensuring uptime when needed.
Documentation & Communication
- Develop comprehensive documentation: methodology notes, model explainability summaries, and user-guidance documents.
- Communicate technical recommendations, project updates, and key insights to leadership and stakeholders.
Continuous Improvement
- Stay updated with emerging data science technologies, healthcare analytics trends, and implement CII (Continuous Incremental Improvement) principles.
- Contribute to change management, training, and user adoption for newly deployed analytical tools and models.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related field.
- 3–7 years of experience in data science, ideally in healthcare analytics or enterprise analytics.
- Strong knowledge of Python/R, SQL, and machine learning frameworks (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost).
- Experience working with EDW environments, analytics platforms, and BI tools.
- Experience in deploying predictive models into production.
- Strong understanding of version control (Git), model documentation, and SDLC for ML projects.

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹3,000,000.00 per year
