About the role
At Expedia Group, we believe travel connects the world, and data powers that connection. We are seeking a talented and driven analytics professional to join our team and help shape the future of travel through data-driven insights and innovation. This role offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally with product, engineering, strategy, and business teams to solve complex problems, optimize performance, and enhance customer experiences.

In this role you will

• Translate complex business questions into clear, actionable analytical tasks.

• Conduct deep-dive analyses using tools such as SQL, Python/R, Excel, and Tableau.

• Design and analyze experiments (e.g., A/B testing) to inform product and business decisions.

• Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor key performance indicators.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities and deliver strategic insights.

• Develop predictive models and apply statistical techniques to support decision-making.

• Communicate findings through compelling data storytelling tailored to technical and non-technical audiences.

• Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, innovation, and collaboration.

Experience and qualifications

• 4 to 6 years of experience in data analytics, data science, or statistical modeling roles.

• Proficient in SQL and at least one programming language (Python or R).

• Skilled in data visualization and dashboarding tools (e.g., Tableau).

• Strong understanding of statistical methods and experimentation frameworks.

• Excellent communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive business impact.

• Curious, proactive, and passionate about solving real-world problems with data.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments with cross-functional teams.
