Data Scientist-Jackson(MS)-Onsite

We are seeking a Medicaid Data Scientist to analyze healthcare and claims data, develop advanced reports, and support data-driven decision-making. The role involves collaborating with business, data, and IT teams to build dashboards, identify trends, and improve reporting and analytics capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop reports and dashboards using modern analytics tools.

• Analyze claims and clinical data to identify trends and insights.

• Collaborate with technical and non-technical teams to produce reports for CMS and other stakeholders.

• Review external reports for accuracy and consistency.

• Identify data gaps and recommend improvements in reporting and analytics solutions.

• Support data literacy initiatives and contribute to data-related projects.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience as a Data Scientist on IT projects.

• 3+ years of experience with Medicaid programs and data strategy.

• Experience with reporting tools such as R and Power BI.

• Strong experience working with both technical and business teams.

• Ability to communicate insights and manage project timelines.

Preferred

• Experience with Healthcare IT or Medicaid/Healthcare payer projects.
