As a data scientist or senior data scientist on the Claims Control team, you'll analyze and develop algorithms for technology solutions that solve business problems and improve operational efficiency. You’ll leverage structured and unstructured customer data to build, test, and evaluate statistical and machine learning models, partner closely with business and technical stakeholders to translate customer insights into actionable recommendations, and support the deployment and ongoing monitoring of data-driven solutions within customer-facing processes.

This is a remote position requiring occasional travel for meetings and/or training.

Must-have qualifications

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in statistical/quantitative modeling and/or machine learning tools and in using various database tools processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Or bachelor’s degree or higher with quantitative focus in Data Science, Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, Computer Science or related field (e.g. Mathematics).

Preferred skills

  • Demonstrated experience building and deploying statistical and machine learning models using Python, including model evaluation, validation, and performance monitoring.
  • Hands-on experience working with structured and unstructured data to generate customer insights and drive business recommendations.
  • Proven ability to design and maintain data pipelines and predictive data flows that support production-grade analytics and machine learning solutions.
  • Experience leveraging cloud-based analytics and machine learning platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS), within collaborative, cross-functional environments.
  • Working knowledge of advanced analytics technologies such as generative artificial intelligence and large language models (LLMs), graph databases (e.g., Neo4j), or similar emerging tools applied to real-world use cases.

Compensation

  • $74,000-$119,500/year
  • Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance.
