Data Service Manager

• Redesign ad-hoc request handling with ticketing & SLAs.
• Ensure robust data validation & quality checks before delivery.
• Implement automation tools to reduce manual effort.
• Translate recurring requests into glossaries & data products.
• Manage stakeholder communication and expectations.
• Provide guidance, coaching, and mentoring to the MIS team for optimal resource allocation.
• Coach and develop team to enhance capability.
• Enable growth by delegating effectively and building team ownership.
• Manage and resolve conflict constructively.
• Demonstrate emotional intelligence in people leadership.

Requirements

• 9–10 years in MIS, BI, or Data Analytics (3+ years in leadership).
• Strong knowledge of databases, reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Oracle OAS).
• Hands-on experience with automation & workflow tools (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
• Good understanding of data governance & metadata management.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, & leadership skills with a focus on inclusivity.
