This is an in-office position @ Sidwainer, New Bedford, MA.

Salary rate: $21.00-$23.00 per hour

Position Summary:
The Data Specialist will assist in set up and maintenance of the customer master file within existing systems. This position will assist the Lead Customer Master Data Specialist in the implementation of new systems and add-ons that support and establish efficiency improvements in the processes/system to provide value to business requirements. The position will be interacting with Sales, Credit and Collections management, Cash posting and Finance leadership.

What You Will Do:

• Create, maintain, and update customer master data according to internal operating policies within our JDE, Bectran, One Credit, NMI and D&B systems.
• Research new credit applications as well as ownership information within Secretary of State
• Run confidential reports for both business and personal credit
• Responsible for entering customer data into JDE/ERP according to standard operating procedures.
• Resolve data and credit application issues using strong communication and investigation skills.
• Research customer groups and how they are linked.
• Maintain and keep confidential secured information. (i.e.) Individual and Business credit reports and banking information.
• Support the Master Data Specialist with analysis of customer master data and ad hoc projects as requested.
• Perform additional duties as directed.

• Strong written and verbal communication with all levels of the organization: Clerk to Director
• Self starter that can work independently and as part of a team
• Problem solving
• Knowledge of Excel
• Have hands-on approach to resolving data related issues.
• Be able to work in high pressure situations.
• Skilled at prioritizing and time management
