UNCOMN is seeking a Data Steward (Analytics Engineer 2, Associate-Level) to:
- Partner with clients to understand business needs, define requirements, and identify data-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business goals into actionable data solutions and deliverables.
- Build and maintain data pipelines to extract, transform, and prepare data for analysis.
- Implement and monitor data quality checks to identify and resolve common issues across datasets.
- Contribute to the setup and maintenance of analytical data environments and supporting tools.
- Develop and document ETL utilities for integrating multiple data sources.
- Communicate technical concepts, insights, and progress clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements
- 5+ years of related experience.
- Must be eligible to obtain a Secret clearance, granted by the U.S. Government, which requires U.S. citizenship. The government also uses 13 adjudicative guidelines to determine an individual's eligibility.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or other related discipline required.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong SQL skills with experience profiling data, analyzing results, and reporting on data quality metrics.
- Understanding of data governance and management best practices.
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines independently.
- Must be willing to obtain relevant certifications as required by future client or contract needs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Active DoD Secret clearance granted by the U.S. Government.
- Experience supporting U.S. Government contracts or analytics projects.
- Familiarity with Business Intelligence tools, Palantir, and/or PySpark.
- Strong foundation in data concepts, descriptive analytics, and visualization techniques.
