Data Strategy Consultant

Required Experience & Skills

• Strong experience designing enterprise data architectures.
• Deep understanding of modern data stacks and API‑led integration.
• Competency in data modelling, ETL/ELT patterns, and distributed processing.
• Knowledge of data privacy and security best practices.
• Experience conducting stakeholder discovery and capability assessments.

Ideal Background

• 8+ years in data strategy, architecture, or data platform consulting.
• Experience with environments integrating multiple third‑party and open data sources.
• Exposure to organizations preparing for scaled analytics, automation, or AI adoption.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Discovery & Assessment

· Conduct interviews and working sessions with internal teams and external data providers.

· Assess current data workflows and integration patterns.

· Map the high-level landscape of data sources, analytic needs, and integration patterns.

2. Data Architecture & Ecosystem Design

· Develop options for a secure, scalable, and cost‑efficient modern data architecture.

· Evaluate data platform and technology stack alternatives (e.g., cloud data platforms, integrated analytics environments, API-led data access patterns).

· Recommend governance, metadata, privacy, and compliance frameworks.

3. Cost & Operational Efficiency Analysis

• Assess cost and operational efficiency trade‑offs.
• Propose architectural strategies that optimize cost, performance, and operational scalability

4. Roadmap & Recommendations

• Deliver a comprehensive future‑state data strategy and technical blueprint.
• Provide an implementation roadmap with prioritized actions.

Job Type: Contractual / Temporary
Contract length: 2 months

Pay: ₹667,184.05 - ₹1,937,379.69 per year
