Position Summary
The Data and Systems Analyst supports the Supply Chain organization by developing and maintaining data-driven insights, dashboards, and process automations that enhance visibility, accuracy, and efficiency across procurement, production, logistics, and inventory operations.
This role serves as the technical bridge between Supply Chain leadership, IT, and operational teams — ensuring data integrity, optimizing SAP system performance, and driving digital transformation initiatives that align with company growth in the UAV/drone manufacturing sector.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Manage and maintain SAP master data for materials, vendors, BOMs, routings, and production orders to ensure accuracy and consistency across all supply chain functions.

Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports (SAP, Power BI, Excel, or similar) to monitor KPIs such as OTD, inventory turns, supplier performance, and material shortages.

Analyze end-to-end supply chain data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings or process improvement.

Support MRP planning, demand forecasting, and capacity analysis through data extraction and automation tools.

Partner with IT to enhance SAP configuration, user access, and data interfaces between procurement, planning, and finance modules.

Document and standardize business processes; develop training materials and support users in SAP best practices.

Troubleshoot and resolve SAP data or transaction issues related to purchasing, production, and inventory control.

Assist with system upgrades, data migrations, and integration of new manufacturing or engineering tools (PLM, MES, Quality modules).

Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Finance to ensure data alignment and accurate reporting across the organization.

Support special projects such as digital thread initiatives, ERP enhancements, and supply chain analytics modernization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.

3–6 years of experience in data analysis, ERP system administration, or business systems support within a manufacturing environment.

Direct experience with SAP ERP (preferably S/4HANA) in supply chain, materials management (MM), or production planning (PP) modules.

Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or Excel Power Query).

Strong understanding of MRP, BOMs, and production workflows in a manufacturing setting (aerospace or UAV experience preferred).

Familiarity with PLM, MES, and quality management systems a plus.

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
- Must be able to walk, stand, and navigate large indoor and outdoor facilities for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift, carry, and move materials and equipment weighing up to 25 lbs on a regular basis.

Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) may be required in designated areas or when performing specific tasks, in accordance with safety protocols and company policy.

May be required to climb ladders, stoop, kneel, or crouch during inspections, maintenance walk-throughs, or emergency response situations.

Regular exposure to facility operations including noise, dust, temperature fluctuations, and industrial equipment.

Occasional off-hours or weekend work required for emergency facility responses or projects as needed

Requires frequent use of a computer and other standard office equipment for documentation, communication, and coordination tasks.
