Data Systems Analyst

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

 Work with product owners and user community to define business requirements

in sufficient detail and define business use cases such that systems

configuration, development/enhancement, and/or operations activities can be

pursued.

 Act as supporting liaison between the development team and business

stakeholders, responsible for facilitating communications, coordinating system

enhancements, and providing production support.

 Provide advanced support for definition/refinement of business requirements and

for quality assurance/acceptance testing efforts.

 Manage the development of user and technical documentation according to

department standards.

 Understand key business drivers and data capture methods.

 Handle confidential information appropriately.

 Work in a client-facing role, having frequent interaction with client stakeholders

and executive managers.

 Ensure that Reporting, Data Warehouse and Database standards, guidelines and

processes are followed.

Job Skills Required:

 3+ years of experience as a Systems Analyst working with cross functional teams

on Data warehouse solutions.

 3+ years of experience with Microsoft SQL Server is required.

 Advanced T-SQL skills required. Solid understanding of relational databases and

business data; ability to write complex SQL queries against variety of data

sources (OLTP, Data Warehouse).

 Extensive experience working with various data sources (SQL and Oracle

database, flat files (csv, delimited), Web API, XML, EDI.

 2+ years of experience developing solutions in Azure.

 Experience with Power BI, Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) and/or Microsoft

Analysis Services (SSAS).

 Experience working in an Agile environment. Azure Repo and GitHub experience

preferred.

 Experience mentoring report developers / business users is a plus.

 Experience communicating clearly and concisely to individuals from various

backgrounds.

 Comfortable navigating ambiguity and demonstrate the ability to manage multiple

initiatives simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,420.55 - $84,807.55 per year
