Database Administrator

Job Role Profile:

As a Database Administrator, you will be a key player in the manage and maintain database systems. The ideal candidate will ensure the performance, security, and availability of databases while supporting application development and providing data management solutions. Your expertise will contribute to the success of various technology initiatives within our organization.

Key Deliverables:

• Database management and Design: Install, configure, and maintain scalable database that meet business requirements and contribute to organizational growth.
• Database Maintenance: Ensure the smooth operation of database by conducting regular maintenance, perform regular backups, recovery operations, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and optimize performance.
• System Integration: Collaborate with teams to integrate Database with existing IT infrastructure and ensure seamless interoperability between systems.
• Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Continuously monitor database performance and implement enhancements to ensure optimal functionality and user experience.
• Security and Compliance: Implement robust security measures to protect database from potential vulnerabilities, ensuring compliance with industry regulations and security standards.
• Incident Management and Troubleshooting: Respond to Incident and resolve technical issues promptly, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
• Documentation and Training: Create and maintain detailed documentation for database configurations, procedures, and development processes. Provide support and training to end-users as required.

Talent Profile:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
• 2- 4 Proven experience as a Database Administrator or similar role, with a strong background in application design and development.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience, e.g: MSSQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, SQL Server.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting and debugging database in diverse environments.
• Familiarity with database backup and recovery procedures.
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams.
