Summary: As a Database Administrator, you will design, implement, and maintain databases, ensuring their optimal performance and reliability. Your typical day will involve installing database management systems, developing procedures for daily maintenance, and resolving any issues that arise, all while collaborating with team members to enhance database functionality and security. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Monitor database performance and implement necessary optimizations. - Assist in the development and implementation of database backup and recovery strategies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - Strong understanding of database design principles and data modeling. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries. - Familiarity with database security practices and user access management. - Knowledge of backup and recovery techniques for database systems. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Oracle Procedural Language Extensions to SQL (PLSQL). - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
