Database Administrator

At TP, we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database stability, availability, security, and performance while supporting business-critical applications and collaborating with internal IT and infrastructure teams.


The Database Administrator will play a key role in database monitoring, troubleshooting, backup and recovery processes, and supporting high availability solutions across enterprise environments.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Administer, maintain, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server database environments
  • Install, configure, monitor, and support SQL Server instances and related services
  • Perform database maintenance activities, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
  • Monitor database health, system performance, and ensure operational stability
  • Manage database backup, restore, and basic disaster recovery procedures
  • Support High Availability (HA) solutions including database mirroring and replication
  • Create, maintain, and optimize database structures and configurations
  • Support and maintain SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services) and SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)
  • Assist in developing and maintaining technical documentation and operational procedures
  • Collaborate with internal IT teams, infrastructure teams, and external vendors when required
  • Provide basic support for Power BI reporting and dashboards
  • Handle incidents and troubleshoot database-related issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure compliance with IT security standards, policies, and best practices
  • Support daily database operations within production and enterprise environments



Required Qualifications:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Database Administrator or in a similar role
  • Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server administration
  • Good knowledge of:

-SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)

-SSRS (SQL Server Reporting Services)

-Database structures and database administration concepts


Experience with:

  • SQL Server installation, configuration, and maintenance
  • Database monitoring and performance optimization
  • Backup, restore, and basic disaster recovery procedures
  • High Availability (HA) environments
  • Database mirroring and replication
  • Familiarity with Power BI
  • Basic understanding of IT infrastructure and database environments
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication and collaboration skills
  • Fluent English communication skills


Preferred Qualifications


* Experience working within enterprise or production database environments

* Knowledge of backup and recovery best practices

* Microsoft SQL certifications are considered a plus
