Required Skills:

• 10 years – Advanced MS Access database design, normalized tables, queries, forms, reports
10 years – Expert relational database design, ER modeling, schema refactoring, Access
• SQL schemas
• 10 years – Microsoft Access + VBA workflow automation
• 10 years – Migration of legacy databases into at least one cloud SQL service (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, AWS RDS)
• 8 years – ETL (SSIS, Azure Data Factory, AWS DMS, or equivalent)
• 8 years – Migration runbooks, data dictionaries, technical docs, training/KT sessions
• 8 years – RDBMS admin tools (TOAD, SSMS, SQL Developer)
• 8 years – Configuring/monitoring ETL in ADF/SSIS, query plan review, performance optimization
8 years – Data migration from legacy
• target systems

Preferred Skills:

• 6 years – CI/CD (GitHub, JIRA)
• 6 years – Data visualization/reporting (Power BI, Tableau)
• 6 years – Agile development methodologies
• 3 years – Healthcare/Public Health experience
• 3 years – Agile methodologies for Texas State Agencies

Specific Skills:

• Legacy MS Access modernization and migration expertise
• SQL schema refactoring & optimization
• ETL pipelines (SSIS, ADF, AWS DMS)
• RDBMS administration & performance tuning
• Documentation (data dictionaries, migration runbooks)
• Cloud SQL (Azure, AWS, PostgreSQL) implementation
• Data security, recovery, and compliance
• EIR Accessibility standards compliance
