Database Administrator (DBA)

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Database Administrator (DBA) to manage, maintain, and optimize enterprise database environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database performance, security, availability, backup, and recovery while supporting mission-critical applications in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, monitor, and maintain database systems
• Manage database performance tuning, optimization, and troubleshooting
• Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of databases
• Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery planning
• Monitor database health and proactively resolve issues
• Implement and maintain database security and access controls
• Support database migrations, upgrades, and patch management
• Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams for application support
• Create and maintain database documentation, standards, and procedures
• Ensure compliance with organizational data governance policies

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience as a Database Administrator (DBA)
• Strong experience with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar
• Expertise in database performance tuning and query optimization
• Experience in backup, recovery, replication, and high-availability solutions
• Strong knowledge of database security and user management
• Experience with cloud database environments (AWS / Azure / GCP) is an advantage
• Good understanding of database monitoring and automation tools
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills

Language Requirement

• Arabic: Mandatory (Reading, Writing, and Speaking)
• English proficiency required for technical communication
