Database Administrator (MySQL)

We are looking for an experience "Database Administrator (DBA)” to join our dynamic Cloud and Managed Services team. A database administrator's (DBA) primary job is to ensure that data is available, protected from loss and corruption, secure and easily accessible as needed.

Job Duties & Responsibilities

• Performed all aspects of database administration including installs, builds, upgrades, object sizing, object creation, users, backup/recovery, patches, monitoring, export/imports, and SQL loader.
• Write fast and high-performing database queries and/or fine-tune existing queries
• Should be create & schedule increment and full backups
• Proactively monitor DB Server maintenance tasks, troubleshoot failed processes, and address issues as soon as possible
• Make recommendations for system architecture per MariaDB Server best practices
• Perform scheduled maintenance and support release deployment activities.
• Data Extraction, Transformation, and Loading
• Specialized Data Handling
• Database Backup, restoration, Recovery and Security
• Authentication
• Capacity Planning
• Performance Monitoring
• Database Tuning

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience as a DBA (MySQL/MariaDB ,SQL Server and Postgres
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information
• SQL Server, Workbench, SQLYOG, Toad etc. tools
• Experience with Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO)
• Experience of High Availability (HA) and Disaster Recovery (DR) options for DB Server
• Experience and knowledge with Data Management Tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs200,000.00 - Rs300,000.00 per month
