Job Description

We are looking for a Database Administrator (Oracle / SQL) who is interested in training and mentoring students as part of a skill-development program.

This role is suitable for Database Administrators, Engineers, or Analysts who enjoy knowledge sharing and mentoring, along with hands-on database work. Prior formal trainer experience is not mandatory.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver practical training sessions on Database Administration concepts
• Train students on Oracle Database, SQL, and core DBA fundamentals
• Demonstrate backup, recovery, performance tuning, and monitoring
• Conduct hands-on labs and real-time use cases
• Resolve technical and conceptual queries of students
• Support preparation of training content and lab exercises

Technical Skills RequiredDatabase Administration

• Oracle Database (Mandatory)
• SQL & PL/SQL
• Any one: MySQL / PostgreSQL / MS SQL Server
• Backup & Restore, Performance Tuning
• Query Optimization & Execution Plans

Cloud Databases (Preferred)

• AWS RDS / Aurora
• Azure SQL Database
• Basic exposure to monitoring tools

(AI / Automation exposure is an added advantage, not mandatory)

Eligibility

• 2+ years of experience as a Database Administrator / Engineer / Analyst
• Willingness to train and mentor students
• Good communication and presentation skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / IT (Preferred)
