Database Architecture Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance database architectures.
• Develop logical and physical data models that align with business requirements.
• Optimize database performance, indexing, and query tuning.
• Implement data replication, partitioning, and backup/recovery strategies.
• Work closely with application developers to ensure efficient data access patterns.
• Design ETL pipelines and data integration workflows (if relevant).
• Manage data security, governance, and compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

Technical Skills:

• Database Systems: PostgreSQL, MySQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Cassandra, or DynamoDB.
• Cloud Platforms: AWS RDS/Aurora, Azure SQL, Google Cloud SQL/BigQuery.
• Data Modeling Tools: ERwin, dbt, Lucidchart, or PowerDesigner.
• Performance Optimization: Query tuning, indexing, caching, sharding.
• Scripting: Python, Bash, or SQL scripting for automation.
• Monitoring: Datadog, Prometheus, or CloudWatch for performance metrics.

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication between data, engineering, and product teams.
• Strategic mindset for scalability and future-proofing architecture.

Education & Experience :

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2 - 4 years of hands-on experience in database engineering, data architecture, or backend data design.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
