Position Title: Database Engineer (ETL & Data Modeling)

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Database Engineer with expertise in ETL development, data modeling, and database optimization. The ideal candidate will design and manage scalable data pipelines to support analytics, AI-driven reporting, and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines to extract data from ERP and business systems (SAP B1, Dynamics 365, SQL Server, HANA, etc.).

• Map and load extracted data into star schema or data warehouse environments. • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize ETL workflows for performance and reliability.

• Perform data validation and reconciliation to ensure data consistency.

• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and AI developers to enhance data accuracy and system integration.

• Implement automation and scheduling of ETL jobs using Airflow, SSIS, or Python-based schedulers.

• Assist in database performance tuning, indexing, and schema management

Required Skills & Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in SQL development and ETL pipeline creation (Python, SSIS, etc.).

• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts (star/snowflake schema).

• Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, or SAP HANA.

• Proficiency in data mapping, transformation logic, and query optimization.

• Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD for data workflows.

• Nice to Have: Experience with ERP systems (SAP Business One or Dynamics 365).

• Familiarity with Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, or dbt.

• Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or AI/ML data integration.
