Job Overview

Symufolk is looking for a motivated Database Intern to join our technical team in Lahore. This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates or students who want hands-on experience in database management, data analysis, and real-world IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in designing and maintaining databases
• Write and optimize SQL queries
• Support data cleaning, validation, and reporting
• Help with database documentation and backups
• Monitor data integrity and performance
• Work closely with developers and data engineers

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s (ongoing or completed) in Computer Science, IT, or related field
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server
• Understanding of data concepts and structures
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

Nice to Have

• Exposure to Python or any scripting language
• Knowledge of cloud databases (Azure / AWS / GCP)
• Basic understanding of ETL processes
• Experience with Power BI or Excel
