We’re hiring a Database Engineer skilled in PostgreSQL and SQL optimization to manage large-scale data systems and ensure top performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain PostgreSQL databases and data models
• Write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures
• Manage database performance, indexing, and query optimization
• Monitor, back up, and restore databases to ensure data integrity and reliability
• Work with developers and analysts to enhance data workflows and app performance
• Implement ETL processes, data pipelines, and migration solutions
• Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks in large datasets
• Maintain technical documentation and apply database best practices

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience as a Database Engineer, SQL Developer, or related role
• Strong hands-on experience with PostgreSQL (schema design, indexing, optimization, partitioning)
• Proficiency in SQL, query tuning, and database debugging
• Good understanding of data modeling, normalization, and relational database design
• Experience with ETL and data integration workflows
• Familiarity with Linux-based systems and command-line tools
• Knowledge of backup strategies, replication, and database security
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Strong English communication skills (spoken & written)
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs80,000.00 per month
