SQL Database Developer

Job Description:

We are seeking a talented SQL Database Developer with 2-3 years of experience to join our team. This is a mid-level position focused on developing, maintaining, and optimizing SQL databases for applications.

Major Responsibilities:

• Database Development & Maintenance: Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL databases for applications, ensuring functionality, security, and regular backups.
• SQL Query Design & Optimization: Design and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts to improve application performance using MS SQL.
• Data Integrity & Security: Ensure data consistency, integrity, and security across multiple databases while adhering to data privacy regulations.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with development teams and project managers to define technical solutions and contribute to the application lifecycle.
• Continual Learning: Stay updated with industry trends and new technologies to enhance system efficiency and effectiveness.

Database Administration:

Along with development, you will be involved in:

• Database management, migration, and integration
• Backup, recovery, and performance tuning
• Ensuring security, compliance, and high availability
• Scripting and automation for database tasks
• Troubleshooting and support

Requirements:

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a SQL Server Developer.
• Proficiency in T-SQL scripting, stored procedures, and schema design.
• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server performance tuning and optimization.
• Experience in database schema design and normalization.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• C# .NET and REST API experience is a bonus.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of .NET Framework, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with databases like Oracle or PostgreSQL.
