Database Modeler SME

Description

Leidos is seeking a Database Modeler for a technical development program supporting the Sponsor’s Entitlement Programs as well as IdAM /ICAM, Authentication, Authorization, Attributes and Digital Policy Management.

Primary Responsibilities:

Overall responsibilities as a Database Modeler include performing all necessary procedures for several databases across several environments. Specific development, test, and production responsibilities will include:

• Install and maintain database software, including Oracle 11 and PostgreSQL hosted on AWS Relational Database Service (RDS).
• Provide software developers with database schema designs adhering to relational database best practices
• Providing corporate applications with DBA consultation and technical support for relational databases
• Evaluate and update database designs for better performance.
• Address integration between databases.
• Maintain database documents and procedures.
• Support database security hardening.
• Address and troubleshoot technical problems.

Required Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
• Requires a Master’s Degree and 15+ years’ experience. Additional experience in lieu of degree.
• AWS experience.
• Prior experience reading and developing solutions to customer requirements.
• Experience with Oracle, MS SQL, UNIX, PostgreSQL, and Linux.

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with database migration tools such as Flyway
• Experience supporting COTS platforms
• Experience working with / handling Highly Sensitive Data

Pay Range:

Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00
