Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Specific Technical Skills :
- Understanding of legacy 911 data services, including Automatic Location Identification (ALI) and Selective Router DataBase (SRDB) systems, and Master Street Address Guides (MSAGs).
- Understanding of telecom circuit provisioning processes, data systems, and circuit technologies, especially how these items impact ALI database management and maintenance
- Familiarity with legacy telecom technology, preferably in the 911 space
- Understanding of legacy time division multiplexing (TDM)-based telecom equipment circuits, their related provisioning systems, and their relationship to ALI databases in a 911 environment
Desired Skill :
- Five to eight (5 to 8) years of experience in a telecom environment and working with 911 systems
- Five to eight (5 to 8) years of experience in maintaining, managing, and working with ALI databases, SRDBs, and MSAGs in a 911 context for either a 911 Service Provider (SSP) or working with the 911 side of an OSP
- Experience using carrier organization inventory tools (e.g., Trunks Integrated Record Keeping System [TIRKS]) is a “nice to have,” not a “need to have,” for this position
General Abilities :
- A bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of related education and experience
- Experience performing detail-oriented relational database research
- Experience utilizing various tools to collect and analyze data
- Strong organizational, data management, and multitasking skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage large volumes of data
Salary Range: $100,000-$110,000 a year
