Senior Test Automation Engineer

1. As a Senior Test Automation Engineer, you will:

• Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks for enterprise applications
• Create and execute automated test scripts for functional, regression, integration, and system testing
• Validate business logic, workflows, APIs, and data integrity against defined requirements
• Work closely with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to ensure high-quality deliverables
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous testing
• Analyze test results, identify defects, and ensure timely resolution through effective defect tracking
• Contribute to test strategy, test planning, and continuous improvement of QA processes

2. What You Bring to the Table:

• 7–8 years of experience in software testing with strong exposure to test automation
• Hands-on experience with automation tools and frameworks (Selenium, REST API testing tools, or similar)
• Strong understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and Agile methodologies
• Experience testing web applications, APIs, and backend systems
• Proficiency in Java or similar programming/scripting languages
• Experience with version control systems and test management tools
• Solid experience in functional, regression, and integration testing

3. You Should Possess the Ability to:

• Translate business and functional requirements into effective automated test scenarios
• Design reusable, scalable, and maintainable automation solutions
• Identify test gaps, risks, and quality issues early in the development lifecycle
• Work independently while collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams
