Day Care Teacher Aide

Overview

As a Daycare Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the development and growth of children by implementing engaging activities that promote learning and social skills. Your ability to communicate effectively with both children and parents, along with your expertise in behavior management and classroom management, will be essential in creating a positive experience for all.

Responsibilities

• Educate and engage children through age-appropriate activities that support their developmental milestones.
• Develop and implement curriculum that aligns with educational standards while catering to the diverse needs of students.
• Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and respectful environment for all children.
• Provide individualized support to children, including those with special education needs.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
• Foster positive relationships with children, encouraging their social, emotional, and cognitive development.
• Maintain a clean and organized classroom setting that promotes learning and exploration.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall daycare experience.

Experience

• Previous experience working in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
• Strong background in behavior management techniques and classroom management strategies.
• Familiarity with curriculum development tailored for young learners.
• Experience working with students of varying abilities, including those requiring special education support.
• Knowledge of toddler care practices is essential.
• Proficiency in basic math concepts to support early childhood education initiatives.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
