Lead Teacher
Job description
We are looking for an experienced, educated, and joyful individual to lead in the classroom. Creating a safe and nurturing environment through positive reinforcement, the ideal individual will bring a deep love for nurturing children as they develop and explore their world. Working with a center-provided curriculum, this individual will be trusted to bring the learning to life through opportunities for all the different learning styles.
Job Expectations
- Create an environment that encourages social and emotional growth.
- Maintain state-mandated ratios at all times.
- Implement lesson plans according to curriculum, state, and church guidelines.
- Use positive redirection when assisting with behaviors.
- Serve meals to children, paying attention to eating habits.
- Follow potty-training guidelines.
- Communicate with childcare team and parents through Brightwheel
Job Requirements
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have previous experience in a childcare setting.
- Must be able to work Monday through Friday.
- Must be able to obtain required training and documentation for employment.
- Must be able to pass state-mandated background checks.
- Must be able to lift to 35lbs or more.
