Daycare Aide

Job Overview

Overview:
Kidz Zone is looking for a dedicated Daycare aide to join our team and create a safe and positive space for children to thrive. We are looking for a caring individual who has a passion for making a positive impact on young children’s lives.

Duties:
- Provide compassionate care and supervision to children in the daycare setting
- Maintain a safe and secure environment for all children under your supervision
- Promote positive interactions among children and provide behavior management techniques

- Support children in their development through education and activities

- Administer basic first aid when necessary and ensure the well-being of each child
- Collaborate with colleagues to maintain a cohesive and supportive daycare team
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress

Experience:
- Previous experience in daycare, childcare, or babysitting roles is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is a plus
- Ability to manage classroom dynamics and create a positive learning environment
- Understanding of special education needs is beneficial
