Daycare Assistant

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with young children. As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment that promotes the social, emotional, and cognitive development of children. Your role will involve engaging children in educational activities, managing classroom dynamics, and collaborating with parents to support each child's growth.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive care for infants, toddlers and pre-k children in a in home daycare setting.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that foster learning and development.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care at all times.
• Maintain effective classroom management to create a positive learning environment.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Assist with daily routines including meal times, nap times, and playtime.
• Administer first aid when necessary and maintain health standards within the classroom.
• Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall daycare experience for children.

Requirements

• Experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
• be at least 16 years old
• Knowledge of toddler care practices and early childhood education principles is essential.
• Strong classroom management skills to maintain an engaging learning environment.
• First aid and CPR certification.
• Ability to educate and inspire young learners through creative activities.
• Previous experience in caregiving or babysitting is an asset.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with children, parents, and staff members.
