Daycare Assistant

Overview
We are looking for a reliable, caring, and energetic Childcare Assistant to join our daycare family. This role is perfect for someone who truly loves working with children and is quick on their feet in a busy, fun environment.

Responsibilities include:

• Caring for children ages 12 months to 6 years old
• Creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment
• Connecting with children through play, learning, and daily routines
• Assisting with meals, nap time, diapering, and potty training
• Cleaning and sanitizing throughout the day (toys, surfaces, play areas)
• Following daily schedules and daycare policies
• Communicating respectfully and positively with staff and parents

• Dependable and punctual
• Have reliable transportation
• Loves children and has a positive attitude
• Quick on their feet and able to multitask
• Willing to help where needed and work as a team
• Willingness to complete state-required childcare training hours
• Ability to follow childcare licensing regulations and safety policies
• Comfortable with cleaning and maintaining a tidy space
• Previous childcare experience is a plus but not required (we value the right heart and attitude!)

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must pass a criminal background check
• Willing to receive required vaccinations
• Pediatric CPR & First Aid Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Mandated Reporter Certification (or willingness to obtain)
• TB test clearance (or willingness to obtain)

We are open Monday - Friday from 7am to 5pm
