Daycare Director

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Daycare professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and a strong understanding of childhood development. This role involves creating a safe, engaging, and educational environment for children from infancy through preschool age. You will be responsible for fostering growth, learning, and socialization among the children in your care.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children.
• Develop and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
• Monitor children's behavior and implement effective behavior management strategies.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment for children to explore and learn.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
• Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive approach to childcare.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed, ensuring proper nutrition for all children.
• Maintain accurate records of children's activities, progress, and any incidents that occur during care.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
• Experience in special education or working with students who have diverse needs is a plus.
• Proficiency in infant care, toddler care, and preschool education techniques.
• Ability to educate children through play-based learning methods.
• Excellent behavior management skills to foster positive interactions among children.
• Previous experience in nannying or caregiving is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with both children and parents.
• A nurturing demeanor with the ability to create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for all children.

Pay: $15.25 - $20.25 per hour
